if the chin is lifted, are 1st and 2nd cervical can be included? 0  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

For cervical spine AP projection we raise the chin to avoid super imposition on the upper vertebrae. But there is a limit for this, i.e, until the lower border of the symphysis menti overlaps with the occiput. If you raise the chin two much the occipital bone will come to cover the upper cervical vertebrae. But some times the odontoid peg may be visible through the foramen magnum. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?
