I am engineer kareem from iraq ..... we here now bulding ahospital and plz if you can give me a hiehgt of leading for x- ray walls ..... and for information we builded the walls with rreinforced the wall by to layer of steel with thick 20 cm for the wall concrete .... also plz if u can mation the refrence you give me the information mean code or any standard

The answer to your question is dependent entirely on the specific equipment which will be located in your room. If it's an x-ray machine, then the walls will most likely be lead-shielded (to approx 84" abc fin flr) but the exact height as well as the exact thickness of the lead shielding depends on the euipment in the room. Plz post a cut sht for the equipment & we'll try to obtain shielding-thickness suggestions. Hope that helps. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
