On Townes isnt the area marked occipital bone actually the pertous ridge? Do you find this valuable?

Yes, the occipital bone is the area above foramen magnum. Do you find this valuable?

You should also be able to see the Lamdoidal suture . This separates the Parietal bones from the occiput, with the Petrous bones being thrown anterior by the projection Do you find this valuable?
