Pls could you let me know what is the magnifcation factor in conventional and digital OPG?
Can it be reduced to zero?

Magnification is caused by the object film distance. OPG machines need to be able to move around the head and therefore need a larger object film distance than usual. This distance will be different for each machine manufacturer and different for each person (the width of peoples jaw varies).

A way to test the amount of magnification would be to tape an object of known size to the chin rest, take an image and measure it on the film to see the size difference
