"Resus"
I find this site very worthwhile & informative, even if I don't always agree with some of the content or postings. (Hey, we're all human, and we all have different experiences, education...and opinions, LOL. Right?) Anyway, until reading some of the entries on this web site, I had never (in nearly 44 years in radiography, on many different levels) seen or heard the term "resus" before. While I guessed that it might be short for "resuscitation", and surmised--based on some of the postings here--that it could refer also to what we in the U.S. (and I would guess those in many other countries) call the "emergency department" (ED) or "emergency room" (ER) or even possibly "triage" or "trauma room (or unit)", I still find it a bit perplexing (and, I must admit, a bit frustrating because of its frequent appearance, "sans" explanation). And I did not find a definition of resus in your glossary, either. So, for the benefit of those who are not familiar with this term, would it be possible to add a definition in the glossary, and to add a parethetical "ED" or "ER" wherever the word "resus" might be used? I know this might seem a minor complaint--although "request" is a better term--to many, but I hope all understand my intent. Thanks.
