This is a therapeutic arthrogram on a 20 year old male with a history of chronic wrist synovitis.

Using a sterile technique, under fluoroscopic guidance, a 23
gauge needle was placed with the tip located within the right
radiocarpal joint. A mixture of 2 ml of Celestone and 3 ml of Naropin were injected.

There was a prominent joint recess located on the volar surface with the impression of frond-like material within it suggestive of a synovitis, possibly PVNS.
