metatarsals
consists of the five long bones of the foot, which are numbered from the medial side (I-V). The base of the 5th metatarsal is a common fractue site.

The toes from medial to lateral:
Big toe

Second toe - 2nd digit
Third toe - 3rd digit
Fourth toe - 4th digit
