Pneumothorax Self Test Case 1 Answer - wikiRadiography
There is evidence of patchy consolidation in the RML and RLL and subsegmetal atelectasis. The white arrow identifies a linear opacity which may represent a pneumothorax. It is difficult to see lung markings past this line. The medial border of the scapula is superimposed which complicates image interpretation. What is missing is detail.
Pneumothorax Self Test Case 1 Answer - wikiRadiography
The enlarged imaged shows the linear marking to extend beyond the chest cavity indicating that it is an artifact. There are other artifacts demonstrated (black arrows). The finding of pneumothorax is also not strongly suggested by the clinical history.

Comment: When there is equivocal evidence of pneumothorax, detail often helps with diagnosis- enlarged image on a high quality monitor.
