  • Deep to thyroid
  • Inferior to thyroid
  • Superior mediasteinum via supra-sternal notch
Standard documentation
  • Longitudnal views right and left lobes lateral / mid / medial
  • Transverse views right and left lobes superior / mid / inferior
  • Lobe measurements long / transverse
  • Transverse view of isthmus
  • transverse viewa superior and inferior to thyroid lobes
