  • Oblique the body slightly to assist with positioning
  • Rest lateral aspect of head against bycky with side of interesr closest to IR
  • Position nasal bones to centre of IR
  • Adjust head into true lateral position
  • Align midsagittal plane parralllel with bucky
  • Align interpupillary line perpendicular
  • Position infraorbitomeatal line perpendicular to front edge of IR
  • CR perpendicular to IR
  • CR 1.2cm inferior to nasion
